VE Week Film Screening at Boraston Church 7.30 pm on Saturday May 3rd EMPATHY AND ETERNITY
Empathy and Eternity is a 45 minute film by Cameron Evans about his father George's time in and around Tenbury Wells as a WW2 child evacuee from Liverpool. When George arrived in 1940, his billet for the next 2 years was with Charlie Horton, the Head Gardener at Burford House. After a short spell in Tenbury with his Mum, George stayed with the Morris family at Boraston Mill for the last 2 years of the War.
The film was shot on location in August 2023 at Burford, Tenbury and Boraston, including footage of Boraston Mill and Boraston Church, where the audio for the soundtrack was recorded. Please phone/text/Whatsapp Bobbie (07932 741558) or Val (07724 074386) if you plan to join us so we can estimate numbers for catering.
